    A village board, parent resources, community connections and sessions designed to make parenting feel a little less lonely.

    Focusing on nature, curiosity, sensory experiences and activities that encourage children to wonder, investigate and make their own discoveries.

For tiny people with big imaginations

Little Nutmeg Club is a place for little ones to play, explore, create and simply be children. Our spaces are thoughtfully designed for curious little minds, with open-ended play, sensory experiences, stories, music, making and plenty of opportunities to discover at their own pace. From tiny babies finding their feet to busy toddlers with somewhere to climb, build and imagine, everything is designed to feel warm, welcoming and wonderfully unhurried. And while they play, you get to sit nearby, enjoy a proper cup of coffee and breathe for a minute. Because they don't need constant entertaining, they just need a safe, beautiful space to wonder, explore and grow.

Because childhood doesn't end at five.

Little Nutmeg Club is for bigger little people too. We want to create a space where children up to around 12 can still be exactly that — children. Somewhere they can make, build, read, play, create friendships and follow their own interests without the pressure to grow up too quickly. From creative workshops and LEGO to board games, book clubs, seasonal activities and curious little adventures, our sessions are designed to give older children a safe, welcoming place to socialise, learn new things and have fun. No pressure, no screens required and no expectation to be anything other than themselves — just a little more room for childhood to continue.

Because Little Nutmeg Club isn't just about creating a lovely space for children — it's about creating one for the grown-ups who bring them, too. A place where you can enjoy a really good coffee, meet a friend, make new ones or simply sit for five minutes while your little one plays nearby. From parent meet-ups and coffee mornings to our Fourth Trimester Club, book clubs, pram walks and relaxed community gatherings, we're creating opportunities to connect through all the different seasons of parenthood. Breastfeeding is always welcome, and thoughtful little touches like a bottle-warming station, baby-friendly facilities and comfortable spaces to sit are there to make life that little bit easier. Because you deserve to feel looked after too.

It takes a village.

We believe no one should have to navigate family life alone. Little Nutmeg Club is about creating a real sense of community — a place where you can come for a coffee, stay for a chat and leave feeling a little more connected. Our Village Board will bring together useful local information, services, groups and support, while our Little Nutmeg Library will offer a growing collection of books for parents, carers and children to borrow, discover and share. And our village isn't just for mams and dads — grandparents, carers, childminders, home-educating families and anyone who plays a part in raising little people are warmly welcome. Whether you're looking for friendship, support, something to do or simply somewhere you feel you belong, there will always be a place for you at Little Nutmeg Club.

A slower kind of childhood.

We believe childhood doesn't need to be bigger, louder or faster. Little Nutmeg Club is about protecting the magic of being little — making things with your hands, getting messy, losing yourself in a story, building something just because you can and having the freedom to wonder. We're passionate about creating a space that encourages imagination over consumption, connection over screens and experiences over things. Sustainability will be woven through the Club wherever possible, from thoughtfully chosen resources and reclaimed materials to supporting local businesses and reducing waste. Because we want to create a childhood worth remembering, while caring for the world they're growing up in.

Good coffee, little treats & family-friendly food.

Because sometimes a really good coffee can make all the difference. Our café will be a relaxed, welcoming space where grown-ups can enjoy quality coffee, homemade-style treats and simple, family-friendly food while little ones play nearby. Everything we serve will be 100% gluten free, because we believe nobody should have to worry about whether there will be something safe for them to eat when they’re out with their family. Having a place that is genuinely inclusive is something that matters deeply to us, and we want Little Nutmeg Club to be somewhere everyone can enjoy a coffee, a cake or a meal without having to ask, check or miss out. We’ll also aim to work with local suppliers wherever possible and create a menu that is thoughtful, welcoming and suitable for little appetites and grown-ups alike. One less thing to worry about, and one more reason to stay for another coffee.
